Scarce London Armory Company Pattern 1853 rifle. Civil War era rifle. Metal has a blue-brown patina. Brass furniture is good. Has nipple cover and chain. Lock has dated 1861. Action works perfectly. Stock is factory checkered with no cracks or dings. Excellent example of a Civil War rifle.
