Serial no. 59072. Manufactured in October 1944 (Showa 19.10) at the Toriimatsu factory under Nagoya Arsenal supervision, chambered in 8mm Nambu, 4.5″ round barrel. Bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted. Serial numbers are matching except for the magazine, while the firing pin is unnumbered. Approximately 55% of the original finish remains, showing expected wartime service wear. Grips remain in very good condition with minimal handling wear noted. A desirable late-war Type 14 displaying the simplified production characteristics associated with Japanese manufacture during the closing stages of WWII. The spring is beginning to show weakness; action functions correctly.
